    Application for Preferment
  • This application is for current Cornell undergraduate and graduate students, students who are applying to transfer into Cornell, or future Cornell graduate students who wish to become members of Telluride House in the 2027-2028 academic year. At this time, we cannot accept applications from students who will be either first or second-year undergraduates during the 2027-2028 school year.

    This application is due on October 31, 2026 at 23:59 ET, which is a hard deadline.


    Application Timeline
    Selected applicants will be invited to participate in an interview either by phone/Zoom or at the Telluride House in mid-November. Final decisions will be available after the Thanksgiving break.

    Acceptance into the Cornell Branch of the Telluride Association does not entail your acceptance to Cornell University. If your application has not been accepted by the Cornell Office of Admissions, please contact the CBTA Preferment Committee at cbta.apply@tellurideassociation.org and immediately rescind your application.
